Donald Trump caused another controversy of sorts on Sunday. This controversy stems from an interview on CNN were Donald Trump didn’t disavow David Duke. The reporter gave him at least three opportunities.
Duke, the former Grand Marshall of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), has vocalized his support for Trump’s campaign and gone so far as to say that a vote against the businessman would be a “treason to your heritage.”
Trump claimed not to know enough about the white supremacist or KKK to actually respond. Click here to see the interview.
He finally went to twitter and posted what seemed to be a reluctant disavowing of the supremacy group.
As I stated at the press conference on Friday regarding David Duke- I disavow. pic.twitter.com/OIXFKPUlz2
