The Harris County Sheriff’s Mounted Patrol 67th Annual Pony Express Ride will deliver 2016 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ invitations for the Texas governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, agriculture commissioner and speaker of the house.
The Pony Express consists of 36 horses and riders, primarily from local law enforcement mounted patrol agencies, who travel along U.S. Highway 290 to Austin in a relay fashion.
