As Kobe Bryant takes a victory lap around the States during his last season in the NBA, he’s been getting bountiful gifts, and giving some, too.

After his final game in Cleveland, he gifted LeBron James his player exclusive Kobe 11 sneakers. He even wrote a message to the King on the toe box of the Lakers-themed kicks. Everything comes full circle, because this is not the first time Kobe gave LeBron a pair of shoes; it also happened back when LeBron was in high school and he received a pair of Kobe’s adidas from the man himself during the 2003 All-Star weekend, according to Fox Sports.

Just few days ago, Kobe also passed along his game-worn All-Star edition Kobe 11s to Paul George of the Indiana Pacers.

In a way, Kobe is also passing the torch to the NBA’s newest generation of burgeoning talent and established greats. May the Mamba live on.
