It’s unfortunate for Johnny Manziel that his latest rumored actions has caused him to be dropped as a client from LeBron James’ marketing agency.
“We’ve decided to end our formal business relationship with Johnny,” said Maverick Carter, the man who runs the LRMR. “I will continue to support and advise him as a friend. However, because Johnny needs to focus on personal growth, the next phase of his career and because LRMR continues to expand beyond marketing, we made the mutual decision that it was best to terminate our business relationship,”
LeBron James commented on the parting ways and about Manziel on a personal level when James told reporters, “I’m more concerned with him individually. I don’t know all the details on it. I haven’t bee all up on it, but I’ve heard a little bit of it. It’s a distraction, not only for himself, but for everyone that’s around him, including family, people that respect him. He’ll figure it out at some point. We all do.”
Over the weekend, it was rumored that Manziel was drinking and gambling in Las Vegas at the Planet Hollywood with this girlfriend.
Even though Manziel was out with a concussion injury, he was supposed to report in for a Dr. check-up.
Over this past season, Manziel played for nine games with six starts and he threw for 1,500 yards with seven touchdowns and five interceptions and completed 57.8% of his passes.
