In South Carolina a little four-year old boy named Prestyn Barnette visited Santa at the mall just like any kid does during Christmas time in order to ask Santa for something unusual.
Prestyn had a different answer to Santa’s question, “what do you want for Christmas” then the usual response… Prestyn told Santa that he wanted a Lionel train set and a miracle for Baby Knox, a 2 month old baby who is on life support tin Las Vegas, NV.

Prestyn’s interest in the Baby’s story all started when Prestyn’s Grandma became a member of a Baby Knox prayer group on Facebook… this is where Prestyn first heard about the baby and his story on why he needed prayers.
According to Baby Knox Joseph’s Facebook page
“Baby Knox Joseph was found unresponsive in bed on 11/30/15. Daddy performed CPR until EMS arrived, and he was transported to the local ER. From there, he and mommy traveled via life flight to Sunrise CHildren’s Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. Knox suffered severe brain damage. Due to brain damage, doctors and medical team felt he should be removed from life support. Mommy and daddy chose life for Baby Knox, he underwent a tracheotomy and a feeding tube was place in his stomach on 12/11/15. Knox is loved, and mommy and daddy pray that God is glorified through his story.”
So when Prestyn asked for that miracle for the Baby, he and Santa took a knee and started praying for the baby’s condition.
Yesterday, December 15th, Prestyn went to Build-A-Bear Workshop to buy a special bear for the baby.
His Auntie Rachel said, “We wanted to send him something he can hear, feel and let him know we were there.”
It’s unfortunate that Knox’s father is taking unpaid medical leave and with that being the case, the family has set-up http://www.gofundme.com/BabyKnox for financial assistance.
