For one day only on December 15, 2015, for every loaf of bread Mrs Baird’s sells, they will donate a loaf of bread to the Houston Food Bank.

The “You Buy A Loaf, We’ll Give A Loaf” program continues the long tradition of giving back to the community that has been a part of Mrs Baird’s since Ninnie Baird shared bread with her neighbors in 1908.

“We have tremendous long-standing relationship with the Houston Food Bank,” said Shane Sumrow, Mrs Baird’s spokesperson. “Today, we urge all of our customers to purchase a loaf of Mrs Baird’s bread for their holiday table, and we’ll put a loaf of bread on the table of those in need here in Houston.”

The bread donation will be up to a total of 20,000 loaves of fresh bread.
