I had a wonderful time attending this year’s Unfamiliar Talent gala and fundraiser. It was a beautiful event. The performances were amazing and the story of why they formed the organization is so touching. Here’s are some deets about what they do for the youth!
Who Are They?
Unfamiliar Talent Youth & Family Services Organization (UTi) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2014, by a group of men who were active in the community and sought to address an urgent need for innovative solutions to the growing challenges faced by young people and families in Houston. These 4 founders – Danny Gilbreath, Joe Kellam, James Taylor, and Michael Winters – united their wisdom and resources to form an organization that is committed to resolving the barriers faced by youth and their families.
