Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle is sentenced to over 15 years in prison after being found guilty on charges of child pornography and paying for sex with minors.
His defense attorneys argued his case by stating that he had only had sex with teenage girls who were 16 and 17 years old…not young children. #BoyBye
Federal prosecutors originally requested a 12.5 year sentence, but Federal Judge Tanya Walton sentenced him to 15 years and 8 months. The maximum possible sentence he could’ve faced was 50 years.
After the sentencing Fogle has been immediately sent to jail. Fogle will also pay a total of $1.4 million to 14 different victims as well as a fine of $175,000.
