Are you ready for yet another installment of the Real Housewives? The franchise is headed to the DC area, specifically Potomac, Maryland.
After the ratings dipped for the season 8 premiere of RHOA, Bravo is setting it’s sights elsewhere. The network has assembled another cast of affluent black women for the Real Housewives of Potomac.
From the looks of the trailer, these ladies are bourgeoisie aka bougie! In every scene they’re critiquing each other’s “etiquette”. There are also two bi-racial cast members whose “blackness” is in question.
Here’s the official show description from Bravo:
“Viewers will be introduced to the wealthy African-American families who have broken racial barriers and now reside in the sophisticated community. The Real Housewives of Potomac will follow socialite and single mom Gizelle Bryant, international model and TV personality Katie Rost, grand dame Karen Huger, social butterfly Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, publicist and single mom Robyn Dixon, as well as restaurateur Ashley Darby.”
