First Lady Michelle Obama is taking her mission to empower students to enroll in college to the next level. As part of her Reach Higher initiative, FLOTUS is launching a new website that will provide resources for high school students who want to further their education. The site, BetterMakeRoom.org, will feature information about SAT and ACT tests, financial aid, and assistance with filling out college applications. The site will also give students a platform to share their personal experiences and motivation to go to school. Her campaign has received the support of major companies, including Vine, the CW television network, Mashable, and American Eagle Outfitters. “I believe that education is the single-most important civil rights issue that we face today. The campaign strives to get the U.S. to lead the world in the amount of college graduates within the next five years. Read more.

We do not have to opt in to other rights, such as free speech or due process.” Nearly 6.6 million eligible people are not registered to vote in the state of California.
