Los Angeles Lakers B-Ball superstar, Kobe Bryant, fires back at critics that questioned him and his support for his former teammate, Lamar Odom, who’s now fighting for his life after an apparent drug overdose.
Although Kobe doesn’t name Master P in his tweet, his state did comes just hours after “P” said he thought Bryant’s concern, as well The Kardashian’s, was phony.
In a video posted by TMZ, the hip-hop mogul said he knew Odom wanted to return to the NBA, and he thinks Bryant could’ve made that happen.
“All [Odom] wanted to do was play basketball. If Kobe was his friend, Kobe like, owned the team. He could’ve got the man back on the team. That’s all he wanted.”
The former Laker, with 14 years in the NBA, and seven seasons with the Lakers, was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on Tuesday night and was transported to a Las Vegas hospital, where he remains on life support.
When Bryant heard about Odom, he allegedly left a preseason game in Vegas to support Odom.
After social media attacks and perhaps Master P saying he was phony, Kobe would finally respond on twitter. Here’s his comment:

Kobe’s wife, Vanessa, also posted his support for Odom on Wednesday with a throwback pic and a heartfelt message.

Many of the league’s athletes and affiliates have also sent their well wishes for Odom’s recovery since Tuesday, including LeBron James, Magic Johnson and Dwayne Wade.
