UPDATE: DJ Paul says that fellow Three 6 Mafia member Koopsta Knicca is still alive and breathing, despite initial reports of his death.
“I talk to the Dr. Directly jus now n he still breathing,he aint goin out without a fight so keep praying yall,” DJ Paul said via Instagram.
The hip-hop world has suffered another loss tonight (Oct. 8). Koopsta Knicca has died at the age of 40 years old. Knicca was placed on life support after suffering a brain aneurysm two days ago.
Koopsta Knicca has been a member of the legendary Memphis group Three 6 Mafia since its founding in 1991. He released 10 solo projects throughout his career.
Koopsta Knicca’s passing comes just two years after fellow founding member Lord Infamous died from a heart attack. Juicy J paid tribute to his deceased brethren in the above Instagram post.
