Sneakerheads definitely showed out this Sunday (Aug. 16) for the H-town Got Sole Sneaker Expo at the Humble Civic Center. In addition to the usual buy, sell, or trade of the freshest kicks in the city, vendors from all over the nation came out to show their wares, including The Dopest Sneaker Heat and Flyest Apparel.

Workers for Dafuq Scooter could be seen rolling around every corner giving demonstrations of their two-wheeled, self-balancing electric scooters, while a stop to the Chill Tees booth could earn you a custom “Straight Outta Houston” tee.

New York City’s DJ Trase hosted the expo and at one point enlisted DJ SneakerSensei to help individuals sell their special kicks. He made it point to distinguish the reals from the fakes as well as letting sellers know if the asking price was

Live entertainment kicked off with an energetic performance by GT Garza with the single “Barrio” and “Young Meixco” from his latest release La Maquina. DJ Chose took over the turn tables while Vanilla Trill hosted a dance off.

Killa Kyleon took over the crowd with his lyrics and reminded DJ Trase just how trill the south is. Slim Thug closed out the expo with performances of his new single “Chuuch” and “Still Tippin’” . Other performances were made by Beat King, Necessary, Just Brittany,  and Yung Martez.

Attendees were also able to enjoy food, drinks, and games from Games 2 U.
