A an interracial Mississippi couple was arrested over the weekend at an airport, and charged with the intention to join ISIS, reports CNN. Authorities accused Muhammad Oda Dakhlalla and Jaelyn Delshaun Young of planning to travel to Syria to join the notorious terrorist organization.

According to CNN the couple planned to get married so they could travel without suspicion, but incriminated themselves on social media, while communicating with two FBI employees over the past few months. Young wrote that she married Dakhlalla in June, and authorities alleged that their cover story was that they planned to fly to Turkey for a honeymoon before traveling to Syria.

“I am good with computers, education and media,” Dakhlalla allegedly wrote in one message to an agent. “What could I contribute?”

According to other reports, Young praised the actions of the Chattanooga, Tenn., shooter, Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez, who killed five American servicemen.

“What makes me feel bette[r] after just watching the news is that an akhi [brother] carried out an attack against US marines in TN! Alhamdulillah [Thanks be to God], the numbers of supporters are growing,” she allegedly told an undercover agent in an online conversation.

Dakhlalla, who attended Mississippi State University, is the son of a local imam, while Young is the daughter of a Vicksburg, Miss., police officer. Both parties are facing Federal charges. Yikes.
