Heavy shelling to Islamic State militants in Mosul

A former Taliban leader – assumed to also be at the head of ISIS – has been killed, along with 30 others, during a U.S drone strike in Afghanistan. The strike is a big victory for Afghanistan as they fight against the terrorist group. [CNN]

Florida State University running back Dalvin Cook turned himself into Tallahassee police after being accused of punching a woman outside of a local bar. Cook gave in early Saturday morning after officials issued a warrant for his arrest. [TMZ]

A former high school teacher is facing a maximum of 30 years in prison. The teacher is currently on trial and has been charged with three counts of forcible sex with 16 and 17-year-old boys. While out on bail for that trial, she had sex with one of the aforementioned teens again. [Complex]
