Over the course of past 4 years, music enthusiasts of all sorts have come to associate Labor Day Weekend with the Budweiser Made In America Festival and this year’s line up is sure to live up to the yearly hype surrounding the music megafest.
The Budweiser MIA powers that be teased fans with the upcoming news of the lineup announcement earlier today via their social media accounts and inevitably kept good on their word once the 5pm deadline rolled around. Beyonce and The Weekend were announced as this year’s headliners, while other notable acts including J.Cole, Meek Mill, Big Sean, Fabolous, DJ Mustard and Nick Jonas are also on the bill. Several non-mainstream fan favorites like Action Bronson, Earl Sweatshirt, G-Eazy and classic hip hop group De La Soul will also touch the stage this year, while acts including Vic Mensa, Mayaeni, Cozz, Bas and Omen will represent the latest of stellar talent from the Roc Nation and Dreamville rosters.
Many fans have happily taken notice of the heavy presence of R&B/Hip Hop acts on the festival line up relative to years’ past, while others worry that the draw of the BeyHive may take away from the authenticity of the crowds that normally make up the 2-day Made In America Festival crowd.
At any rate, with this line up and the MIA festival’s track record of memorable musical magic, we’re sure that this year’s show will not disappoint in the least. Check out the full line up below.
