Kendrick Lamar’s highly anticipated sophomore album on Interscope saw an early release late Sunday night. A week early to be exact, with the album slated for a March 23 release. K. Dot tweeted out the album’s title along with a link to the iTune’s purchasing page.
However, there seems to be a rift in communication between Interscope and Kendrick’s label Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE). TDE CEO Anthony Tiffith clearly not happy about the surprise drop made it known as well by his response tweets. Interscope did not respond back but instead retweeted Lamar’s original release tweet.
