The latest on the Memorial Park Master Plan will be revealed Jan.12 during a public update meeting.
Houstonians have seen the drastic changes at the park from the lack of trees, but through the new plan, Memorial Park will be restored, preserved and enhanced for the entire city to enjoy years on out.
Planning partners, The Memorial Park Conservancy (MPC), Houston Parks and Recreation Department and the Uptown Houston TIRZ are working on the 1500 acres to offer all types of recreation from picnicking and bird watching to soccer and swimming.
