(Birmingham, AL) — A church in Alabama is trying to reach more people by moving its services to a restaurant. According to AL.com, Birmingham’s Riverchase United Methodist Church is launching a new worship service at Buffalo Wild Wings this Sunday. Reverend Wesley Savage says he’s hoping the move will create a more inviting atmosphere. But he explains that the morning prayer session will be taking place inside the restaurant before it actually opens, so there won’t be any beer or wings served. The parishioners, however, are invited to stay for lunch and sports afterward.
