Gangnam Style

YouTube is getting re-vamped, thanks to “Gangnam Syle.”

Psy, the infamous Korean pop artist, debut in America was in 2012 when his music video went viral on YouTube.

At the time, Google didn’t think video views on their site would exceed 2 billion, but the Asian pop song scored a whooping 2,158,594,780 views since it broke.

“A few months ago, a site technician noticed the view count for “Gangnam Style” would eventually hit that number and require a behind-the-scenes tweak,” said spokesperson Matt McLernon according to Houston Chronicle.

On Monday, Google+ made some changes on the “back end” that now allows for more than 9 quintillion views .

I believe Psy has come closer than Kim to breaking the internet.
