The ladies of En Vogue are getting back together again to bring you the gift of togetherness courtesy of Lifetime!
While you’re waiting to see how Aaliyah’s biopic is going to turn out, the network announced that it rounded the members of the group (minus Dawn Robinson) for a Christmas movie! The Funky Divas will be playing themselves in the film, where they reunite for a good cause when they’re “asked to perform a benefit concert to save the club that made them stars.”
In the film, it takes a little convincing to get them to do the reunion, but the sirens are eventually able to find some forgiveness and plan their set!
There’s just one other complication to over overcome. Before they get o stage to save the club where they got their start En Vogue “must overcome their challenging history with Marty (David Alan Grier, In Living Color), their former manager and the man responsible for breaking them up.”
Find out how they work everything out when “An En Vogue Christmas” airs November 22 at 8 p.m. on Lifetime
Of course, that’s not the only new Christmas movie that Lifetime’s airing this holiday season. Jaleel White and Wendy Williams are set to star in “The Santa Con,” debuting December 18 at 8 p.m. And you might want to hold onto your wig for this next tidbit: Wendy is going to be someone’s moral compass as she plays a pastor in the film!
