Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and Dr. Pepper are saying that they are reducing the sugar in their drinks, the amount of calories consumed by Americans. The soda makers are said to be the cause of obesity in the United States and they are trying to fix it along with still selling their product. How? They are making small cans and smaller bottles, but unless they fix the actual product all that does not matter. Why? Anyone can purchase a 32 oz soda at a gas station.
The pres of the American Beverage Association, Susan Neely, said that they will focus on the areas that are usually the less interested in low-calorie drinks.
