I can’t even front. I was ABUSED as a child by my step father. Alternator belts, the stick from the mini blinds, & if was a good day MAYBE a switch. So I never play about child abuse. I do think whoopings are a part of growing up in the black community. When you look at how fast some of these kids are growing up, in our over “sexualized” society, some of these kids need whoopings.
The accusations against Adrian Peterson has made us talk about child abuse. I don’t fault my mom for being a disciplinarian. I discipline my kids. I do not abuse them. In my opinion, whooping isn’t bad. It’s how you do it. I don’t think everyone agrees with my views. Check out former Viking Cris Carter giving his opinion.
