(HOUSTON) — Believe it or not, another beauty supply store was burglarized overnight.
This one happened around 4 a.m. Thursday at the Brashae’s Beauty Supply store on Westheimer near Highway 6 in west Houston.
It’s the second one in as many days and the third one this week.

“This is a good burglary right here,” owner Ron Hilliard said.
Why? Hilliard said that, instead of the crooks ramming a pickup truck through the storefront, they took the more discreet route.
Police said two black males with bandannas and hats broke into the vacant retail space next door, and then cut through the drywall to get into the store.

They crawled along the ground to make it to the merchandise, possibly unaware that cameras were filming them from above.
The thieves reportedly made off with up to $10,000 worth of hair extensions.

Hilliard has a theory on why so many beauty supply stores have been hit in the last two weeks.
“It’s back-to-school, a lot of people want long hair,” he said. “A lot of it has to do with going back to school.”
Hilliard said he may stop selling hair extensions, saying it’s not worth keeping them stocked.
