You know, we talk a lot about smartphones and upcoming releases from Apple and Google, and because I’m a bit of a fan of both companies’ products, I tend to overlook other products that really do deserve a mention, especially when it’s a straightforward product that lives up to the hype without the many flashy distractions that go largely unused.

Yeah, I’m talking to you, Siri.

In this case it’s the Ritot, a watch unlike anything you’ve run across before.  Billed as the world’s first projection watch, Ritot projects an image of the time on the back of your hand.

But it doesn’t stop there!  Ritot also communicates with your smartphone and displays notifications on its screen.

Ritot is part of a well-funded Indiegogo project that has easily surpassed its initial crowdfunding goal of $50,000.  In fact, with little more than a month to go in their campaign for funds, Ritot has raised more than $200,000 so it’s a pretty safe bet the watch is all but ready to go.  Expect shipping in early 2015.

In the meantime, you can CLICK HERE to stop by the website, and don’t forget to check out the video of Ritot in action below.
