(HOUSTON) — A local METRO rider says he was waiting for his bus in southeast Houston when he was viciously attacked by a group of teens.

Randolph Gibson tells our news partner KHOU 11 that it came out of no where, but he tried to fight back.

Gibson was able to run away. But last week, a friend of his, sitting at the bustop at Bellfort and Cullen, wasn’t as lucky.

Houston’s Ministers Against Crime has gotten involved. They suspect the attackers are playing a version of the “Knockout Game,” where they assault people at random and post the videos to the Internet.
