(HOUSTON) — Harris County Sheriff’s Office investigators are hoping the public can identify a woman seen in video surveillance footage writing a forged check after stealing the account information from an 87-year-old man and his 82-year-old wife.
The couple called HCSO when they noticed unusual activity on their bank statement — more than $1,200 worth of unauthorized checks.

The same unidentified woman is seen using counterfeit checks with the couple’s account information at several local retail stores. She is described as a white female, 20 to 25 years old with a medium build and a small tattoo on the back of her neck.
