(HOUSTON) — After 30 years, NBA hall of famer Hakeem Olajuwon is reuniting with Etonic to re-issue his signature Dream basketball shoe.

Etonic announced Wednesday they will be releasing the retro Akeem the Dream signature shoes — originally released in 1984 — to select stores in June, along with an exclusive collection of classic Etonic styles from the 1970s and 1980s.

Together, Olajuwon and Etonic will create the Brand Dream label, which will produce a whole new line of  technical basketball shoes, products and apparel for the NBA.

“From product development to testing on the court is creatively satisfying. Teaming back up with Etonic is a natural progression for me. I’m thrilled about this new venture to reintroduce the retro Etonic Dream collection, as well as to develop and launch Brand Dream,” Olajuwon said on Etonic.com.

As he did with the Houston Rockets, there is no doubt this time Olajuwon will be leading Brand Dream to great success.
