(HOUSTON) — A sting operation led to the arrest of a Houston man who was allegedly trying to meet underage girls on the internet.
David Ibarra, 30, is charged with online solicitation of a minor. According to court documents, Houston Police Department officers contacted him through an ad posted on Craigslist asking where to meet young girls for sex.

Harris County Assistant District Attorney Steven Driver said an officer arranged a meeting with Ibarra by posing as a 14-year-old girl.
Driver said Ibarra admitted to police that he knew he was trying to meet a 14-year-old. Id convicted, he faces anywhere from two to 10 years and a fine of up to $10,000.
