Rutgers University is heading a course that observes Bey’s music and career as a means to delve deeper into sexual politics, American race and gender. The course will be taught by Kevin Allred who is a doctoral student and teacher in the Department of Women and Gender studies. The course is intended to “Politicize Beyoncé” not concentrate on reiterating her awesomeness or how to be portrayed more like her.
This course I’m sure will generate great interest amongst the students and will serve as good reason to spark further interest in studies surrounding feminists issues and its associated impact on things observed in media, music, etc.
