An ATM has proven too heavy to steal for a group of thieves on the Eastex Freeway.
Early this morning, four men rammed the door of a Citgo station with a pickup truck. Night cashier Syed Shah was on duty when it happened.

“They hit the truck by the ATM machine and they hit the truck twice to steal the ATM machine,” Shah said. “But they struggle on that…they can’t do it and then they ran away.”
After the unsuccessful attempt, the men fled in the pickup. Shah watched the action from a security booth and was not injured. Houston Police are investigating.
