There’s a new winner in Houston, and he did it by pretending to be black! Newly elected Houston Community College Board of Trustee, Dave Wilson, did a couple things to win; he sent out mailers (pics below) with African-American families, which he admitted pulling from websites. The mailers also read “Please vote for our friend and neighbor Dave Wilson.” Houstonians may take that as to mean he was endorsed by longtime state representative Ron Wilson, who is black. He clarified (in fine print) it wasn’t State Rep. Ron Wilson, but his cousin, Ron Wilson, endorsing him.
