(Norwood, MA) — A Massachusetts man is facing multiple charges after he was caught trying to prove that his car could top 100 miles-per-hour. According to the “Boston Globe,” police say the suspect was spotted speeding last Friday night with one hand on the wheel and the other taking a video of his speedometer. The driver later explained that the car is on the market, and he was trying to show potential buyers the vehicle’s top speed. He was issued summonses on charges of speeding, impeded operation, and reckless operation. And because of the potential fines attached to those charges, police joked that the asking price of the man’s car will probably go up.
