Sitting at home listening to the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show Podcast of the first show without out him, so sad. He really was a cool person, just really down to earth….. The whole Kidd Kraddick team was. Every time he came to Houston and we would see each other, we would break away from the group and throw one liners with each other and just laugh until it was time to get back to work. Im so glad I had a chance to meet and work with him. He really was TRULY a good hearted person. The world needs more people like Kidd. He’s missed already.

Kidd was a radio legend I had the opportunity to work with before I came to the Box. He was the life of the party and just so fun and positive to be around. He has and organization called Kidds Kids where he would take a plane load of terminally ill and handicapped  kids to Disney World for free along with their family members. He actually spent his last day raising money for that very trip,  which will still take place in a few weeks.

He believed in giving people chances…..he saw good in everyone. One of the last things he did while in New Orleans was offer a job to a man who was selling bootleg DVDs on the street. He approached the young man and asked what his dreams were and if he planned on selling illegal DVD’s for the rest of his life. The man replied, “No, I would like to be an accountant but I have to do what I have to do.” Kid turned to his manager George and told him to get the mans number because he wanted to give him a shot. Thats the kind of man Kidd was.

I hope I’m able to touch as many people as he did, millions……..He made each and every person he talked to feel important. RIP Kidd Kraddick. #RadioLegend #Leader #RoleModel #Philanthropist #Motivator #RiskTaker # LOVED!
