Kanye West is facing scrutiny after using the word “retarded” in an interview with W Magazine.
He says he feels the Heavenly Father is responsible for his failure to use the right words when he is trying to make a point. (Oh, that explains where he and Kim K. got the name North West!)
“God’s little practical joke on me—as an intellect who doesn’t like to read a lot—is like, I’ll say some super philosophical shit, but I’ll say it the wrong way,” he says, laughing. “I’ll use the wrong word, so it goes from being really special to completely retarded.”
Perez Hilton mentions on his site that the use of that word–retarded–is in poor taste. Do you agree?
