Epic is a 3D computer animated fantasy-adventure comedy-drama film loosely based on William Joyce’s children’s book The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs. A 17 year old teenager, visits her estranged and eccentric scientist father, Professor Bomba, who has been searching for tiny human soldiers, whereas the daughter, like her mother was, is skeptical. She wants her father to stop his work and be a real father.
The movie stars the voices of Beyonce, Colin Farrell, Aziz Ansari, Pitbull and Amanda Seyfried just to name a few. Beyonce does a great job and there is no doubt that they let Aziz and Pitbull do their own thing…it really works.
A good movie to take your kid(s) to this weekend. The first weekend brought in a whooping $42 million.
