Update 10:16 a.m. —
A Cy-Fair High School student has been found after he failed to return from school Monday.
LeJon Alden-Brown, the teen’s father, said Driston Alden-Brown was found late Tuesday night after one of the boy’s friends admitted to seeing him around West Rd., and Telge Rd. that morning. LeJon said he had no idea why his son would do this, but was thankful he was not abducted.
“He is home,” LeJon told NEWS 92 FM. “We still need to figure out why he just up and left school but all we care about right now is that he is safe.”
“Thanks again to everyone for all your thoughts and prayers,” LeJon posted to his Facebook Wall overnight.
The family of a Cy-Fair student are seeking information after he failed to return home from school yesterday, a family friend said.
Driston Alden-Brown was last seen leaving Cy-Fair Senior High School on Monday around noon, according to Amanda Abiassi‘s Facebook post that went viral Tuesday night.
Driston’s backpack and his cell phone were found at the school. He has not been heard from since, Abiassi said.
A request for an interview with the Alden-Brown family has been made, but was unanswered as of press time. We will bring you more details as they become available.
If you have more information, contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Department.
