A recent string of vandalism in Sunnyside have residents there concerned for their safety. Harris County Constables believe a gang is responsible for spray painting cars with red paint.
A bright red “103″ was seen on the side of one of the apartment complexes at Willmington House Apartments in the Sunnyside/South Acres area of South Houston.
Satira Peavy says her Nissan has been hit three times. The first time, her tires were slashed. At first she thought it was just kids since Worthing High School is right next door.
Peavy says she’d like to see more police patrols through the neighborhood.
“My issue is, I come home from work at 1:45 in the morning, my concern is for my safety.”
Harris County Constables are investigating.
