A$AP Rocky says his relationship with Rihanna won’t be going up in smoke anytime soon. The rapper is speaking up about his friendship with the superstar singer. After the pair’s steamy performance at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards — during which A$AP grabbed Rihanna’s rear end — rumors ran rampant about the nature of their relationship. But Rocky tells Rollingstone.com that their relationship is completely friendly and based on their mutual love for cannabis. He claims that Rihanna is a “pothead” just like himself. Just as marijuana has brought Rihanna and him together, Rocky thinks cannabis can unite young people. He says that “weed is going to bring us together as a generation.”
A$AP’s first album “Long.Live.A$AP” hits stores today. The album includes guest appearances from several big names in hip-hop, such as Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Two Chainz and Joey Bada$$.
