I had the pleasure of attending Oprah’s Lifeclass on Friday morning at the Hobby Center with my co-worker Ayana Mack. Oprah’s special guest was Joel Osteen and the title of the show was on the topic “The Power of I AM”. The idea is pretty simple. What we speak…we bring to life. After the show my co-workers and I went backstage to meet Oprah. I can’t lie…I was nervous! I meet celebrities all the time but Oprah is way more to me than just a celeb. She is an inspiration. It’s not about what she does…it’s about who she is and how she got there. Oprah’s road to success is quite the story ya know. We took pics with her backstage and I shared with Oprah that I wrote her a letter in 6th grade and she wrote me back. She says she can remember the letterhead from way back then. She has such a great spirit! I love me some O!
