Mobb Deep rapper Prodigy can’t get any respect in the music business. Someone is always trying to play him. The latest person to “expose” Prodigy is a former member of Mobb Deep named Ferg Brimm. Brimm says Mobb Deep originally broke up because Havoc caught Prodigy sending love letters to men in prison.

Brimm, who was an original member of Mobb Deep and Havoc’s cousin, did an interview with Doggie Diamonds of Forbez DVD. Besides making claims Prodigy is gay, Brimm also makes allegations Prodigy is a snitch working with the hip-hop police. Ferg Brimm said, “I’m exposing a guy that’s coming to you with one image and living another image.”

Ferg Brimm maintains anytime you hear about somebody punking Mobb Deep or some gay stuff surrounding the group, it’s always Prodigy. Brimm also says the group originally broke up because Havoc found out Prodigy was sending love letters to gay men in prison. Sending gay love letters is the absolute opposite of what Mobb Deep is supposed to the about.

The reason behind Ferg Brimm exposing Prodigy is still unknown. Some believe Ferg is going so hard at Prodigy because he is jealous Prodigy was in Mobb Deep when they were successful. We just think Ferg Brimm has no respect for Prodigy and will do anything to get people to feel the same way he does. Only time will tell if our theory was correct.
