Chad Holley, a teen suspect who made national headlines after surveillance video showed four Houston police officers beating him, is scheduled to be arraigned on a burglary charge Wednesday.
Holley along with three other suspects, was arrested last month for burglarizing a home in northwest Harris County. According to investigators, he and three other men stole a laptop from the home.
Holley was convicted of another burglary in 2010 after the infamous surveillance video showed four Houston police officers beating him. Andrew Blomberg and three other officers were accused of beating Holley in the video; Blomberg stood trial for the beating.
Blomberg was found not guilty of official oppression in his trial. Lawyers for the other three officers accused of beating Holley have filed a motion to have a change of venue.
