An Indiana mother who sent her gay son to school with a stun gun after administrators apparently didn’t do enough to stop the bullying against him said she would do it again — even though the teen now faces expulsion.
Darnell Young, who goes by Dynasty, was arrested last month after brandishing the weapon at school. He said a group of students was threatening to beat him up so he raised the device in the air.
A Survey from 2009 said nine out of 10 LGBT students had experienced harassment at school over the previous year and nearly two-thirds felt unsafe because of their sexual orientation.
