(Philadelphia, PA)  —  In a tribute to late “Soul Train” creator Don Cornelius, a Philadelphia  group is hoping to break the Guinness Book record on the longest “Soul Train” dance line.  At four o’clock this afternoon local time on the steps of the Art Museum, as many as 500 dancers are expected to strut their stuff in what officials hope will be the longest “Soul Train” dance line ever.  The previous record of 211 dancers is held by a Berkeley, California high school.  Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, music producer Kenny Gamble and Sheriff Jewell Williams are among those scheduled to participate in the dance.  Don Cornelius died on February 1st.
