The NFL has denied the appeal of Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh over his two-game suspension for stomping on an opponent, according to a league source.

Art Shell, jointly appointed by the league and the NFL Players Association to hear the case under the new Collective Bargaining Agreement, has notified Suh about the decision. Suh is suspended for the Lions’ next two games and will be reinstated to the active roster on Dec. 12.
