(Undated)  —  Hank Williams, Jr. is taking aim at ESPN and the Fox News morning show “Fox & Friends” in a new song.  Titled “I’ll Keep My…,” the tune follows the fallout over ESPN’s decision to yank Williams’ song from the opening of its “Monday Night Football” broadcast after the singer compared President Obama to Adolf Hitler.  The song is expected to arrive on iTunes this week.  It includes lyrics like “So Fox ‘n Friends wanna put me down/Ask for my opinion/Twist it all around/Well two can play that gotcha game you’ll see.”  ESPN and Williams agreed to go their separate ways days after Williams’ song was yanked, ending a 20-year collaboration.

Hank, Jr. will discuss the controversy on Tuesday’s episode of ABC’s “The View,” where he says he found allies in show co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar.  He writes on his website, “Whoopi and Joy understood what I was saying.  After watching the clip of their show, I knew I needed to talk to them first.  Who knows Whoopi may run for President and I’ll be her Vice President… now that will really stir it up!”  Williams is also scheduled to appear on Tuesday night’s “Hannity.”
