(Denver, CO)  —  A house cat that went missing in Colorado five years ago is safe, in New York City.  Workers at a pet shelter in Manhattan scanned a microchip embedded in the cat’s neck and traced the animal, named Willow, to a family in Colorado.  A New Yorker found Willow wandering on the East Side of Manhattan and took the brown, black and white cat to a shelter.  Willow will soon be on a plane back to Colorado.
