British lawmakers questioning, media mogul Rupert Murdoch, about his papers’ hacking scandal, ended up watching a protester attempt to smack the aging tycoon in the face with a pie on Tuesday.

Murdoch’s wife, Wendi Deng, leapt to her husband’s defense, her windmilling arms B-Slapping at the pie-thrower.

Then, for good measure, she picked up the pie plate and tried to hit the attacker with it.

“Mr. Murdoch, your wife has a very good left hook,” said Labour Party MP Tom Watson, although it was an awesome right hook.

News Corp. lawyer Janet Nova also jumped to her boss’ defense, having blocked most of the shaving cream pie from hitting Murdoch.

Police arrested Jonathan (Jonnie Marbles) May-Bowles, a comedian who turned what was billed as the dramatic climax of the mushrooming Murdoch scandal into a silly circus.

“You are a naughty billionaire,” witnesses quoted him as saying as he was led away covered in foam.

Murdoch was unhurt and, after a brief pause, removed his jacket and resumed his testimony.

British authorities are questioning and investigation allegations that Rupert Murdoch’s UK newspapers, “News Of The World,” paid more than $1.5 million in hush money to try to cover up the fact that they were illegally hacking into cell phones in pursuit of stories.
