Apparently some east coast drug dealers think pretty ‘high’ of rapper Lil Wayne and R&B singer Brandy.
Newark, New Jersy police officers recently pulled over an SUV and found 500 bricks of heroin worth an estimated $250 million stuffed in various stash compartments in the vehicle.
Many of the bricks were labeled with the name, Lil Wayne and some with Brandy.
Many drug dealers put names on their product as a means of branding or in order to describe potency.
According to one of the detectives involved in the bust,
“The driver had no driver’s license. We at that point we decided to call for a narcotics dog. Conducted a sniff test and sure enough right away, on the exterior of the vehicle, he had a positive reaction.
This might pose a danger to the distributor himself, depending on the level he’s on. Whether he’s a mid level or lower level or he’s actually the main guy, somebody’s losing money right now.”
Lil Wayne cannot do any drugs or liquor as part of the terms of his three-year probation for drug and gun possession in Arizona. We hope this doesn’t count.
