Hollywood actor and director Tyler Perry will be taking part in this year’s Academy Awards. On Thursday it was announced that the “Madea Goes To Jail” star will be a presenter during this year’s ceremony. It will be Perry’s first appearance at the Oscars. Tyler Perry’s credits include the films “Medea’s Family Reunion,” “Why Did I Get Married?,” and “I Can Do Bad All By Myself.” He also created and directs the TV series “Meet The Browns” and “House of Payne.” Tyler Perry’s next cinematic project, “Why Did I Get Married Too,” is due in theaters on April 2nd. The 82nd Academy Awards will take place March 7th at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. The ceremonies will air live on ABC beginning at 7 p.m. Central.
